                                                     Jeremiah "Jeri" Estes' experience as a volleyball coach spans juniors competition to the highest professional                                                                 international levels. He has worked with some of the most respected and successful college and international head                                                       coaches. As Head Coach, he had successful tenures with the Saint Louis Quest, Volero Zurich, and Dinamo-Moscow.                                                   His teams have featured American players Logan Tom, Robyn Ah-Mow Santos, Danielle Scott, Keri Walsh and Tayibba                                                   Haneef-Park in addition to numerous top-level international players.

 

                                             Jeri began his professional coaching career as an assistant coach at Long Beach State in 1994, helping the squad to an                                             NCAA National Championship in 1998. While he was with the program, the 49ers made two final four appearances, five                                               NCAA Tournaments, three Big West Conference titles and produced four seasons in which the team finished nationally ranked in the top 10. He also served as associate head coach at NCAA Division I East Carolina University

and UC Santa Barbara.

He joined the US National Team coaching staff in 1999. Team USA produced fifth-place results at the World Grand Prix and Montreux Volley Masters, won the NORCECA Olympic Qualifying Tournament and went on to place fourth at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. As an assistant coach with the Russian National Team, he joined Coach Nikolay Karpol and a team that was ranked #1 in the world for two consecutive years, winning gold at the 2001 European Championships, 2002 World Grand Prix and 2002 Montreux Volley Masters, and winning silver at the 2000 and 2003 World Grand Prix competitions. The team won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Athens. 

He has over a decade of experience with Uralochka-NTMK Ekaterinburg, one of the most successful professional women’s teams in the history of international volleyball, including eight 1st place and nine 2nd place finishes in the European Champions League, the most competitive professional volleyball league. Uralochka-NTMK has consistently developed some of the best

female players in volleyball history.

Estes was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He attended Mid-Pacific Institute and was a
letterman in volleyball and basketball. He received his degree from Long Beach State University, where he was a member of the Men’s Volleyball team and competed for the Track & Field squad in the decathlon and the 400 meters.

The Volleyball Factory is a partnership with Yevgeniya Viktorovna Estes (Mrs. Jeremiah Estes), a professional women's volleyball player and prolific member of the Russian National Team. She is a record six-time indoor volleyball Olympian (1992 - 2012) who earned silver medals at the 1992 (Barcelona), 2000 (Sydney) and 2004 (Athens) Olympic Games. In addition to the Olympic Games, she has competed in numerous international competitions and professional leagues in Russia, Italy, Turkey, Switzerland and Japan.
